Meaningful connections to movements and contextual sources is a major driving force to the creation of choreography. The 7th and 8th grade dancers interpreted, discussed, and extracted elements to multiple types of text, poetry, music and personal writing, as a way to generate movement and personal connection. The dancers then created final choreographic phrases using various choreographic tools.
