Media department students produce video shorts about their time in quarantine.
Inspired by the NY Times Coming of Age in 2020 contest, the media department tasked their students to create a short narrative video. Each student was asked to find an artifact that was symbolic of their life during quarantine. The artifact was to reflect an object, an event, or a person important in their life. The students wrote narrative scripts, and then were tasked to turn them into experimental videos under 40 seconds long.
Ms. Murray and Mr. Riffel are really proud of their students' submissions as they are working with limited media resources in this virtual learning environment.
