Dance in Commercials

As our grade 11 dancers continued to explore non-traditional performance means and alternate methods of communicating through dance, we became intrigued by the power & possibilities of dance used in commercials & PSA’s. After researching & reviewing a wide variety of professional examples, each dancer set out to make their own commercial / PSA that utilized dance as a primary messaging / marketing device. From picking a product, to drafting a proposal & production plan, to creating & executing choreography, to filming & editing - here are some samples of their final work. #Dance
